At our “mother department” PMD, the lecture series “Rolling bearing technology” provides a deep and detailed insight into the subject of rolling bearings. Real rolling bearing experts are trained there. It is therefore a matter of honor that we can also contribute. Together with Steffen Puchtler, currently a doctoral student at PMD, Georg Martin reported on the theory of rolling bearing impedance – and how it can be used in practice for our “sensor bearing without sensor” to measure forces and monitor lubrication.
